He's since become one of my most prolific breeders, which either says something about the plant or something about me. The hybrid itself is (crystallinum x magnificum) x subsignatum, and across more than fifteen crosses now he's reliably stamped his subtle subvelvet character onto whatever I've paired him with. Some clones of him are apparently floating around out there in other collections - if you run into one, that's just Justin being Justin.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eOnto \u003cem\u003eforgetii\u003c\/em\u003e, a species I'll admit isn't much for a closed sinus, but there's something undeniably captivating about a wall of its leaves, veins all tracking back to a single point, staring at you flat and cold like it knows something you don't.
