It still wore the old 'Nurturing Nature' tag, QR code and all, long since dead - a relic of the generic Doc Block era that flooded the market mid-COVID and got cast off just as fast. But the plant itself has no business being a cast-off. Both the seed and pollen donors behind it trace to a likely selfed Tim Anderson 'Wonder Boy', and it shows: deep red-pink emergents and veination that make you wonder why anyone let this one go.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe pollen parent is 'Amy', named for my mom, and approved by the IAS Cultivar Committee for strong primary venation against a dark green lamina and distinctly undulate margins. She's a naturally occurring selection out of my own growing efforts, and I like to point out that her parents - (crystallinum x magnificum) x (magnificum x nigrolaminum \"Gigi\") - are handsome but nothing you'd pick out of a lineup. Sometimes the best plants come from parents nobody was fawning over. This cross is my attempt to see if that logic holds twice.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Fuzzy Petioles","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":42327215603767,"sku":null,"price":200.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0567\/1734\/4823\/files\/19e9434216148162fbd95a75644681d0.jpg?v=1784680397","url":"https:\/\/40535d-84.myshopify.com\/products\/anthurium-michelle-x-zara-x-amy","provider":"Fuzzy Petioles","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
