antolakii "Chubbs" x Wonder Boy A
I named the seed parent "Chubbs" for the obvious reason - it's chubby, a product of Grant Abadal's antolakii work, and I believe it traces back to "Round" x "Felix" F2. I don't have a lot of clever things to say about it. It's kind of a masterpiece. Look at the photos and you'll get it faster than I can explain it.
The pollen parent, Wonder Boy A, came to me from Scott Cohen a while back. I couldn't tell you with certainty whether it's grown from original Wonder Boy material or a self of it, but I can tell you it throws wondrous emergent color and passes it down without much fuss. It's a big, vigorous plant, and it carries that Tim Anderson touch of pulling something remarkable out of species inputs nobody had pegged for greatness. Putting that pollen onto "Chubbs" felt less like a plan and more like an inevitability.
