antolakii "Chubbs" x Wonder Boy A
Chubbs needs no introduction from me, and I'm not going to fight it. Grant Abadal bred it down from A. antolakii "Round" x "Felix" F2, and I nicknamed it the obvious thing because, well, look at it. It's chubby. That's the whole review.
The pollen parent, Wonder Boy A, came to me from Scott Cohen a while back, and I still don't know if it's original Wonder Boy material or a self of it. Doesn't much matter. What matters is it throws wondrous emergent color onto whatever it touches, and it's large and vigorous besides, carrying on Tim Anderson's long habit of pulling something amazing out of species nobody's quite pinned down yet. Put that pollen onto a masterpiece of a seed parent and you get this batch. I don't have much more to say. Some crosses you just make because you know they'll work.
