This one's got Tim Anderson on both sides, once removed and twice remixed. The seed parent is Phil Iloo's doing, another faithful continuation of Tim's line with his own spin on top, and I got it as a small seedling through Aaron at Urban Leaf Shop since Phil doesn't ship and Miami isn't exactly on my way. Good guys, both of them. It emerges cinnamon-toned and hardens off into a zebra-striped venation pattern that shows up all over Tim's various branches of breeding, enough that I'd put money on 'Wonder Boy' hiding somewhere upstream in the pedigree.

The pollen parent was an impulse buy at the IAS Show & Sale off Doctor Jeffrey Block's table, a plant that sat there sulking as a runt for a year before deciding, all at once, to become a proper mother plant. Its emergent color swings with the seasons, soft pink-brown some months, arterial red in others, and it's already made a name for itself in a few other crosses around the greenhouse. Pairing that shifting emergent against the zebra venation is exactly the kind of thing I can't help myself over.
