"Sam's Dream" x open

I picked up the seed parent at the IAS Show & Sale in 2023, frankly because it shares a name with my wife, and there was no version of events where I left that show without it. It's a monster now, about four feet wide with leaves over two feet lobe to tip. It combines a striking selfing from Tim Anderson's 'Wonder Boy' lineage with an undescribed Colombian hybrid, and the result has some genuinely interesting veination, overlapping lobes, and emergent leaves that go red in the cooler months and nearly black under lights.

Whatever pollinated it, it had good taste. This is what happens when you leave a plant like that open to the world and see who shows up.

This plant was open pollinated. I know the mom, I don't know the dad.
