The seed parent alone deserves more than the usual paragraph I give these things. The seed parent, A. magnificum "Mickey" is a giant, velvet monster with dark green lamina between the veins - a storied plant with a special place on the bench. The pollen parent is a dressleri seedling I received from Scott Cohen as a 2-leaf baby, and h as grown into a decently vigorous breeding plant - given the species' tendancy toward drama. Combined I expect the dressleri to tone down the size of the magnificum, with both carrying forward a high-velvet feel.
