Phenix x (Wonder Boy Dark x Doc Block)

I live near Phenix City, so the name was never really a choice. The seed parent almost died in a fire, then came back, which makes every other plant claiming that mythology look a little soft by comparison. It's a deep, many-plants hybrid out of Carnivero, tag long lost to time, the kind of pedigree you just have to trust because you liked what it did in front of you. Beautiful variable emergents, a shorter stature, and apparently a will to live that outpaces most anthuriums I've grown.

The pollen parent, Wonder Boy Dark x Doc Block, I'll let speak for itself when it's older. For now this seedling is just what happens when something that survived fire gets crossed with something I haven't formed an opinion on yet.
