I don't have much on file for the seed parent beyond the name, so I'll let it stand quietly in the background while the pollen parent does the talking. A. cerrocampense is one of the few waxy-leaved members of section Cardiolonchium, dinner-plate-round with a bright yellow spadix, and it's been a generous pollen donor for me, producing plenty of it and fragrant to boot. It's shown up in several notable hybrids lately, and for good reason. It also stays a comfortable size and has tolerated shade outside through some rough west Georgia summers, which counts for something even if I'm not supposed to talk about growing conditions here. Curious to see what the F2 brings to the table against a parent this generous.
